Yoichi Isagi

In Blue Lock Episode 4, Team Z members disclosed their unique weaponry, but Isagi doesn’t appear to be aware of his. So what precisely does he excel at?

The titular programme in Blue Lock has started, and it isn’t holding back. Groupings of members are formed, and these groups later become their teams. Ego Jinpachi describes the first selection after removing the extraneous players. The teams will compete in round-robin matches against the other teams in their building. The top two teams will advance to the next round of the competition, while the remaining teams are eliminated. The highest scores from each eliminated team, however, are also given the opportunity to continue.

First up was Team X of Shouei Barou versus Team Z, the team Yoichi calls home. Everyone was vying for a goal at the beginning of the game, which was pure chaos. But that wasn’t for very long. Barou’s magnificent display of talent sparked Team X’s cooperation, which resulted in Team X’s victory over Team Z. To avoid the pandemonium that erupted during their first battle, Team Z devised a new plan. Based on the play style of the primary striker, they intended to adjust their team’s approach.

What Is Yoichi Isagi 's Weapon?

The Team Z members convened in their room after their heartbreaking defeat to plan their next move. They started by introducing themselves and their areas of expertise. They were informed by Raichi that his weapon was his superb shooting ability. He even cited “sexy soccer” as his mantra. Asahi Naruhaya did likewise. He described how adept he was at falling behind. Except for Chigiri, the others quickly demonstrated their own strengths. The striker with long hair declined to display his abilities. Isagi , however, had nothing to say to the others when it was his turn. He was unaware of his own strengths. Igarashi Gurimu offered passing, but Yoichi rejected it because it was improper for a striker.

Isagi resumed his routine daily practise despite not knowing his weapon. But he was still concerned by it. He wasn’t given a clue until Kunigami came up to him as he was eating. Kunigami just wanted to express his gratitude for the superb assist that resulted in Team Z’s lone goal versus Team X. During their conversation, Isagi inquired about Kunigami’s opinions on soccer and eventually prompted Kunigami to inquire as to why Isagi had passed the ball to him. He admitted that he had smelled a goal. He continued by saying that passing to Raichi still required facing Barou. After hearing it, Kunigami proposed that Yoichi’s weapon might be his ability to sense a goal.

What Exactly Is "Smelling A Goal"?

Isagi Smell of goal

Kunigami is probably correct. Isagi has a talent for getting things done, though he may not yet be aware of it. Isagi ‘s ability to smell a goal might just be the result of a combination of keen soccer intuition and speedy online processing. He demonstrated it by passing to Kunigami during their match with Team X. Isagi claims that his access to Kunigami wasn’t merely a lucky break. He considers Raichi’s position and Barou’s existence before making the pass, and it all transpired in the space of a few seconds. Simply put, he has better on-the-spot reasoning skills than the majority of players. He doesn’t, however, just rely on his capacity for thought.

He is the only one who can identify the strategist behind Team Y’s formation during their match. As a result, Team Z succeeds in scoring. He only learns to learn Niko’s function thanks to a vague sense of threat. It is not the result of Yoichi’s meticulous reasoning. It is entirely instinct-driven. It might even be identical to how Bachira identified a supposed monster inside Isagi. If these rumours are true, Isagi will undoubtedly take centre stage in the upcoming Blue Lock episodes.
