From the start, Netflix and One Piece have announced a version of the iconic anime: THE ONE PIECE, created by Attack on Titan’s WIT Studio.
THE ONE PIECE, a remake of the One Piece anime by Attack on Titan’s WIT Studio, will be coming to Netflix.
The upcoming release of an anime remake was revealed at Jump Festa 2024 via One Piece’s official website. The anime will be animated by WIT Studio, which created the initial three seasons of the highly successful Attack on Titan. The One Piece is going to initially adapt the “East Blue” saga from Eiichiro Oda’s original manga. The show’s first teaser visual and trailer can be seen below, and Netflix is presently the sole foreign streaming service associated with it.
The One Piece, according to the website, will resurrect the series with a new, modern appearance and will be released with the now-running One Piece anime. The production team also indicated that the remake will not conclude with the “East Blue” saga, claiming that “the release is still quite some way off, and it is a long project that will require even more time to complete.” WIT Studio president George Wada expressed his pride in being a part of this series and encouraged creatives worldwide to contribute.
Many followers were startled and happy on social media, while others were frightened by the revelation. One Piece is one of the world’s most popular anime and TV shows, and people who were interested in the brand but were put off by the anime’s lengthy episode count are now planning to watch the new series.
The One Piece follows the highly successful Netflix live-action adaptation, which introduced many new viewers to the anime and increased One Piece’s global fame. Some fans, however, have expressed concern about what this means for the presently showing anime. Talented freelancers who were previously working on the currently running anime may instead choose to work on the remake. Many others have questioned whether this is simply a money grab, claiming that remake works for One Piece have been ongoing for quite some time.
The current One Piece anime, which can be watched on Crunchyroll, has the following synopsis: “Monkey. D.
