Demon slayer Genya

In the latest episode of Demon Slayer, Genya Shinazugawa reveals a deadly new weapon in the struggle against Muzan Kibutsuji and the demons.

In the newest episode of Demon Slayer, Genya Shinazugawa’s character unveiled an astounding new tool for destroying demons.

Genya’s particular weapon, a Nichirin shotgun, made its anime debut in Demon Slayer’s third episode of the “Swordsmith Village” storyline. This one-of-a-kind weapon resembles a Western double-barreled shotgun and is utilised for both distance and close-range attacks. It has the ability to behead demons, akin to a Nichirin sword, which Genya used to his advantage in the recent episode “A Sword from Over 300 Years Ago.” Genya’s major weapon in the struggle against the Upper Rank demons will be this aggressive instrument.

Demon Slayers Have Always Used Swords... Until Now.

Before the series featured the rifle, Demon Slayers could only kill demons by exposing them to sunlight or using Nichirin swords forged by the village swordsmiths. However, due to the use of certain substances in the shells, this weapon may deal the same amount of damage as these instruments. The ammunition is made up of Scarlet Crimson Iron Sand and Scarlet Ore, both of which are required in the construction of Nichirin swords. Genya also carries a tiny Nichirin sword to finish off his adversaries if the cannon is insufficient.

The first season of the show introduced Genya, the Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa’s younger brother, who met the protagonist, Tanjiro Kamado, following the Final Selection examination. They would have a minor physical altercation there, with Genya sustaining a fractured arm as a result of the exchange. He would later emerge at the Butterfly Mansion, passing the protagonist once again. In the “Swordsmith Village” arc, the character replaces Zenitsu and Inouske as Tanjiro’s main support, with the Love Hashira Mitsuji Kanroji and Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito.

Action-Packed Episode of Demon Slayer

The latest episode of Ufotable’s anime adaptation continued to thrill viewers, with the unveiling of the demon danger in the village ratcheting up the action. Tanjiro, Nezuko, Genya, and Tokito started fighting Hantengu, Muzan Kibutsuji’s fourth-ranked follower, and quickly realised how dangerously powerful the adversary was. Hotaru Haganezuka, Tajiro’s personal swordsmith, also returned in the chapter, promising to reconstruct the blade Tanjiro discovered in the previous episode following his rigorous training routine.

Demon Slayer is available to watch in its entirety on Crunchyroll, with the next episode set to air on April 30, 2023.
