BLUE LOCK: Episode: Nagi celebrates a significant manga milestone and releases a teaser and first trailer for the movie that centres on her and Reo. In 2024, BLUE LOCK will return, releasing a brand-new teaser and the official trailer.
The day began with an unassuming post from the official BLUE LOCK PR account, which featured a scene from Nagi’s season 1 episode of “egoism.” This was before to the release of the Episode Nagi movie’s first official trailer. The adaptation of the spinoff manga, created by Kota Sannomiya, is directed by Shunsuke Ishikawa [season 1 assistant director] and is centred on Nagi and Reo’s perspective during the events of the original anime.
The movie will summarise a recap of this anime, but it will also retell the plot from Nagi’s point of view. It may be summed up as follows: “This movie centres on Nagi Seishiro, a second-year high school student who lives his life in accordance with his famous catchphrase, “This is annoying.” After meeting Reo Mikage, a World Cup dreamer, Nagi’s brilliance is put to the test against the best strikers. BLUE LOCK: Episode Nagi sets itself apart from the original manga through humour, oddity, and a thorough examination of Nagi and Reo’s bond.
BLUE LOCK Celebrates Another Milestone
With more than 28 million copies in circulation, BLUE LOCK officially establishes itself as one of the best-selling manga of all time. This accomplishment places this anime in the new generation of manga, trailing only Jujutsu Kaisen and Spy x Family in terms of sales for manga released after 2018.
The movie will be animated by Eight Bit, who is also a member of the production team together with NAMCO BANDAI and Kodansha. Nobunaga Shimzaki returns his role as Nagi Seishiro, and will be joined by Yuma Uchida (Reo Mikage), Kazuyuki Okitsu (Zantetsu Tsurugi), Kazuki Ura (Isagi Yoichi), Tasuku Kaito (Meguru Bachira), Yuki Ono (Rensuke Kunigami), Soma Saito (Hyōma Chigiri), Junichi Suwabe (Shoei Barou), Koki Uchiyama (Rin Itoshi) and Hiroshi Kamiya (Jinpachi Ego). The music will once again be composed by Jun Muruyama, while Taku Kishimoto will oversee the scriptwriters.
Yusuke Nomura and Muneyuki Kaneshiro collaborated to create the book BLUE LOCK. “My life was boredom,” it is captioned. I hadn’t met him yet. A spring 2024 premiere of this movie is scheduled.
