The struggle between both the Red-Haired Pirates and even the Kid Pirates is updated in Chapter 1079 of One Piece, and the outcome is predictable.
One Piece Manga Chapter 1078 contains a slew of revelations. Stussy keeps Sentomaru informed on the World Government’s plans. She warns the young Marine that the World Government has declared Egghead to be a much greater threat than Ohara, forcing Sentomaru to order the evacuation of all Egghead residents. He informs them of the island’s impending demise. Meanwhile, the Straw Hats are still engaged in battle with the Seraphim. Despite understanding the Seraphim’s apparent weakness, Luffy’s squad is having difficulty dealing with them.
There’s also news of the spy among Dr. Vegapunk’s Satellites. In reality, Chapter 1078 displays the traitor’s face for the first time, startling even Stella. The traitor is revealed to be the slacker York, who admits to Stella that she wishes becoming a Celestial Dragon. Knowing that York has experienced the Celestial Dragon’s ruthlessness, the Stella cannot believe the Satellite can make such a decision. York’s rationale, however, does not stop there. The female Satellite goes on to say that the planet does not require numerous Vegapunks. It just requires one, which is obviously her.
Chapter 1079 picks up just a few hours before the present timeline, with the spy York speaking with the Seraphim. She goes on a rampage about how the World Government’s plan endangers her life. It appears that it is acceptable if only Stella is targeted, but because she is also on the kill list, she must carry out her own plans. She orders the Seraphim to use the downed Frontier Dome to clear the obstructions in her path. They are to kill everyone but her, Stella, and the people underground – a mandate that the Seraphim readily embrace.
York goes on to say that she doesn’t want the others to know she’s a traitor. She wishes to conceal her heinous actions, claiming that she lacks the strength to defeat the other Satellites. As a result, she orders S-Snake to terrify her in front of everyone. She is to reverse her petrification once the others have turned away. Eventually, she tells them which parts of the lab they must not destroy. She then lets them run free. The Seraphim begin their heinous quest for the remaining Satellites and their supporters. Meanwhile, Sentomaru is still desperately attempting to get Egghead’s civilians to flee the island. He also sends the Pacifista to guard the evacuation.
Back at Elbaph, the pirate captains travelling under the Red-Haired Pirates banner issue a stern warning to the Child Pirates. The first to repel them are Frog-Toes Ribbitini, Frugar the Addenturer, and Pururu the Brr-Rave. Child, on the other hand, isn’t amused by their ridiculous appearances. He even questions their loyalty to the Red-Haired Pirates. Yet, Killer cautions him not to underestimate his adversary. There are many notable persons among their ranks, and being sloppy may cost them a lot of money. Child, on the other hand, tells his first mate that he has no intention of doing so, even if they are actually nobodies.
Meanwhile, Shanks has also come on shore. His first order is to move all the ships that are in their way. The pirate captains beneath him express their concern, especially since they haven’t seen him in a long time. However, Shanks insists that they reposition their ships. Surprisingly, Shanks then reminds them of their notoriety. He informs them that his affiliates — hence, them — are known for being weak, which the others ignore.
Shanks’ main pirate crew is already getting ready to sail. Lucky Roux tells Shanks how they can manage the young pirates, but Shanks cautions them not to underestimate the younger generation before going over Kid’s background. He also asks questions whether the Kid Pirates have healed from their injuries in Wano, to which Yasopp responds that they are already ready to fight.
They’ve also identified their foes on Kid’s ship, and Killer reports that there have been nine ships in their way. Kid expresses his boredom by wearing his signature Damned Punk. Shanks detects his movements and orders his associates to scatter. He also orders Dorry and Brogy to take their respective stations. Shanks’ Color of Observation Haki is apparently powerful enough to look into the future, and when he sees a particularly awful one, he instantly heads towards Kid. He doesn’t hold back; his very presence causes a handful of Kid’s underlings to fall, and he then uses Divine Departure on the young pirate directly.
Shanks’ attack not only causes significant damage to the Kid Pirates’ ship, but it also successfully knocks the captain out. A significant number of their crew members are also sent flying. When the other Kid Pirates go to check on their captain, they realise that Killer has been caught up in the attack because the first mate sought to defend his captain. As the other members see how miserable they are, they decide to surrender. They give the Emperor all of their Road Poneglyphs and ask him not to kill their captain. Yasopp then alerts Shank of their whereabouts, allowing the Emperor to swiftly depart the Kid Pirates’ ship.
The fight, however, is far from over. The Child Pirates are about to discover the hard way that their acts have repercussions. Dorry and Brogy are more than glad to return the favour after Kid pointed his cannon-like abilities at Elbaph. They draw their swords and unleash their hallmark strike, the Hakoku Sovereignty. It’s the same strategy they employed to save the Straw Hat Pirates. They successfully divided the Kid Pirates’ ship in half. It is then concluded that the three-billion-bounty Kid Pirates are destroyed at the War-Land Elbaph by the Emperor Red-Haired Shanks. Only future One Piece chapters will reveal whether or not any of them survived.
