One Piece: A Year of Non-Stop Streaming Adventure!

For One Piece anime fans, starting later this month, the complete series will be streamed continuously on YouTube for a full year.

A non-stop streamathon for this anime is expected to begin later this week.

The official YouTube channel made the announcement. Although viewers outside of Japan are unable to access the announcement film, information from other websites, such as ComicBook.com, indicates that the video introduced “Anytime One Piece.” The anime will begin streaming in full, non-stop, for an entire year on October 29 as part of the show’s 25th anniversary celebration, which also includes this reveal. That means the One Piece YouTube account offers a quick and cost-free way for anyone who wants to watch the entire series again.

One big reason why this matters should not be understated is that this anime is currently one of the longest anime series ever made with 1080 episodes. Additionally, the anime has yet to end, therefore there will be more episodes before the “streaming year” is up. There are 450 hours of viewing material if you add up the episodes runtime over those 1080 episodes. The movies and specials might possibly be included in the streamathon, though this is not definite, lengthening the duration even further.

To put it another way, fans who stay up late enough can see the full loop of the anime in less than 20 days. The episodes will loop back around quickly, allowing viewers who intend to jump in and out to pick up where they left off or rewatch something they haven’t seen in a while. Everything will culminate in the conclusion of the manga and anime, which have both reached their final arcs.

According to the official series description, Monkey D. Luffy was motivated to become a pirate as a child by reading the tales of the buccaneer “Red-Haired” Shanks. But after unintentionally ingesting the Gum-Gum Devil Fruit and gaining the ability to stretch like rubber, Luffy’s life was forever altered—at the price of never being able to swim again. Years later, still determined to rule the seas, Luffy embarks on his journey alone in a rowboat in pursuit of the legendary “One Piece,” which is rumoured to be the greatest treasure on earth.

On YouTube, the One Piece marathon will start on October 29.
