The third season of Demon Slayer has anime viewers incredibly excited, but only manga readers know what will happen.

The long-awaited continuation of Tanjiro and his demonic sister’s exploits is now available to anime fans worldwide thanks to the release of the most recent Demon Slayer Season. The Swordsmith Village, where a single clan of blacksmiths forges the distinctive Nichirin swords used by the Demon Slayer Corps, will be the destination of his subsequent voyage. Only a small handful of Kakushi are aware of the location of the town, which is so closely guarded that not even the demon slayers themselves are aware of it.

In order to explain to Haganezuka how his sword sustained such severe damage during the Entertainment District Arc, Tanjiro travels to the hamlet for personal reasons. Although manga readers are aware of how their journey would finish, he and his buddies have no idea how much trouble they’ll get into when they get there.

10) Upper Moon Four: Hantengu

Unsurprising to few readers, Muzan’s men eventually locate and infiltrate the Swordsmith Village. The upper brass of Muzan must be eliminated now that the lower levels of the Twelve Kizuki have been disbanded, and he was kind enough to dispatch two members to wipe out the town.

Hantengu is a seemingly pitiful person that resembles an elderly guy who isn’t particularly skilled in combat. His particular skill—the ability to produce four strong clones that can carry out all of the fighting for him—comes into play in this situation. Hantengu is a fantastic illustration of how appearances can be deceiving because he still manages to put up a valiant battle.

9) Upper Moon Five: Gyokko

Gyokko is an exceptional instance among the demons in Muzan’s legion because the enemies in Demon Slayer don’t frequently seem all that different from everyday people. He looks more like a curse from Jujutsu Kaisen than a character from the Demon Slayer series, to start with, since his eyes are replaced by mouths, and his mouth doubles as an eye.

Gyokko compares himself to an artist, adhering to the stereotype of the person who is so preoccupied with aesthetics that they end up with a skewed perception of beauty. Once he shows there, anime viewers will instantly loathe him because he is such a bizarre person.

8) Kanroji & Muichiro's Chance To Shine

Kanroji & Muichiro's Chance To Shine

Viewers were left wondering how each of the Hashira would hold up in a fight and what their fighting styles are when they initially emerged near the end of Season 1. Demon Slayers have since proceeded to quench their curiosity, first with Rengoku and then once more with Uzui. The Love and Mist Hashiras are now given some attention.

With the esoteric shape of her Nichirin blade, Kanroji can deliver powerful, surprising blows that are the foundation of her fighting style. Muichiro uses quick, accurate movements to disorient adversaries. Two Upper Moons are terrorising the village, and a legendary fight is about to begin.

7) Genya Finally Gets To Fight

Genya Shinazugawa, the scarred young man with a chip on his shoulder, has hardly ever been seen since his appearance during the Final Selection. In the Swordsmith Village arc, he eventually makes a comeback, and it appears that he has learned some new skills in the meanwhile.

Genya is perhaps one of the most distinctive characters in the series thanks to his fighting style and weapon. The entirety of Genya is perhaps what manga readers are most anticipating seeing in Season 3.

6) Haganezuka's Determination

6) Haganezuka's Determination

Many fans have taken a liking to Haganezuka because of his exaggerated responses to Tanjiro’s penchant for shattering the swords he spends so much time making. The forthcoming episode of Demon Slayer will explain why the clown-mask wearing blacksmith is so anxious about the hero’s blade.

The quality of a Nichirin blade among the peasants says volumes about the maker. Haganezuka is given greater depth in The Swordsmith Village Arc, showing that he is more than just the comic relief who booksends each arc.

5) Tanjiro's New Tricks

Tanjiro's New Tricks

Tanjiro had to show off some new moves to qualify as a new Demon Slayer, and the Swordsmith Village Arc is no exception. The youthful demon hunter, under the temporary guidance of the two Hashira who are also passing through the town, sharpens his swordplay to better face his mortal foes and develops his talents while fully committed to learning new Hinokami Kagura tactics.

Nezuko will essentially stay the same, but her brother will shock the audience with two new signature techniques after a brief training arc. These two manoeuvres, Sunflower Thrust and Dragon Sun Halo Head Dance, will be crucial additions to Tanjiro’s ever-expanding toolbox of assaults.

4) Yoriichi Type Zero

Some think Yoriichi Tsugikuni, a legendary demon slayer from the Sengoku Period, was the strongest person to ever live. A young villager named Kotetsu describes the six-armed puppet version of him in the Swordsmith Village as the greatest weapon. The ultimate weapon, though, turned out to be the ancient katana concealed inside the puppet, as was later discovered through its training sessions with Tanjiro.

The puppet has a relatively minor role in the narrative, acting as akin to a side quest in a video game. They are worthwhile to complete for the additional lore and useful rewards, similar to some side tasks.

3) The Mask's Meaning

Haganezuka’s clown mask was his defining characteristic when he initially made an appearance. Every member of the Swordsmith Village dons a mask similar to his, and it is there that their function is made clear. Members of the hamlet wear masks when going outside to prevent any prospective threats from monitoring and following them due to the village’s remoteness and covert location.

Although this restriction does not apply to residents of the village, some of the characters who appear nonetheless do so, maybe to conceal their identity even from demon slayers, who are still regarded as outsiders. Despite this, Season 3 will give Haganezuka fans who want to see his face their dream.

2) Nezuko Conquers The Sun

Nezuko Conquers The Sun

The sun is a demon’s biggest enemy, and has been since the beginning of time. The sun’s rays cause all demons, without exception, to disintegrate into dust. All of that alters near the conclusion of the next arc, as Nezuko survives during the daytime despite being exposed to sunlight.

Nezuko’s victory over her weakness for sunshine receives the gravity that such a change merits. This development not only modifies the plot’s parameters but also sparks the conclusion when Muzan learns of it and gets busy preparing for the big confrontation.

1) Muzen Sets His Sights On Nezuko

Muzan didn’t appear to have any grand designs for the siblings when he attacked Tanjiro’s home and changed his sister into a demon. To him, it would be a fitting conclusion for a family that still had ties to the Sun Breathing he and other demons despise so much; he likely imagined Nezuko would kill her brother and spend the rest of eternity wandering the countryside, consuming humans.

Therefore, it is somewhat unexpected when Muzan is startled and even delighted to learn how far Nezuko has come at the end of this following arc. He makes preparations for a winner-take-all confrontation with the Demon Slayer Corps since he realises that demons could be seen wandering in the sunshine.
